Formed in 2000, the HitZone (formerly the Hitmen) is one of Vancouver’s most unique musical acts. When the HitZone are booked to play your event, you can be sure your guests will be rave about the quality of the band and the non-stop energy they create. Clients consistently marvel at the band’s versatility and “can do” attitude. The HitZone will keep the dancers happy with sure-fire party faves from the 50’s to today, from England to San Francisco.

Russell Marsland is one of Canada's premier guitarists. A child prodigy, at age 17, Russ became lead guitarist at a famous nightclub called Lassetter's Den, named after owner Bill Lassetter from the BC Lions. The house band consisted of the likes of Tom Lavin from the Powder Blues Band, as well as David Lanz, keyboardist for the late great Frank Zappa. He later co-founded the legendary Rhythm and Blues Allstars, performing along B.B. King, the Allman Brothers, and War.

Billy is an accomplished Bass Player, Vocalist and Songwriter. Born and raised on the island of Oahu Hawaii, Billy has 30 years of experience, from Oahu, through the West and Mid- West of the United States, Europe and thru out Canada. Residing in Canada since 1992, Billy has been carving out a niche for himself on the local Vancouver scene. Recording with, and producing a number of independent Acts, including fronting a 10 piece band,

He was vocal coach to Will Ferrell in the movie “Elf”, musically directed “All Grown Up” at Richmond Gateway Theatre. And was the musical director for the Jessie Award-nominated musical, “Red Rock Diner” and for “Cheatin’ Hearts”, both at the Arts Club Theater. As a session musician, he has written, produced and sung TV and radio jingles for the Canadian, U.S., Japanese and New Zealand markets. As a performer, Tom starred in the ‘99/’00 Kiss Project at Performance Works on Granville Island and has appeared in the opera “The Gang” at Harbourfront in Toronto.
